About The Artist
Susan Breitbart, owner and founder of Boxes with Attitude, has always been an artist at heart. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in interior design.
After enjoying a long and successful career as a licensed interior designer, she decided to retire and become a stay at home mom. However, she never strayed far from her creative instincts.
When her first daughter became a Bat Mitzvah, she came up with her shadow box gift idea, and started making the gifts for her daughter’s friends. Word soon spread and requests for her unique boxes started flowing in.
Susan lives in Cooper City, Florida with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs
We create beautiful gifts by incorporating the invitation into a shadowbox, which is individually designed, based upon the invitation itself, and the artist's design concept to match the invitation. For each box, the invitation gift is set inside a decorative background that includes a fabric-covered matting with added trims.
Boxes with Attitude hand-paints the outside of each frame, then mounts the invitation inside the box with a unique background to create a one of a kind keepsake gift. We have a true knack for making every shadow box something special!
